About
In addition to seeing patients in private practice, I'm Clinical Director and a core faculty member at Wright Institute Los Angeles, a non-profit training site for therapists and a low fee community mental health clinic. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the California Graduate Institute and a Ph.D. from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. In my doctoral studies, I researched gender identity, testosterone, and memory expressions. I presented my work at the American Psychological Association in Toronto, Canada and at the National Academy of Neuropsychology Convention in New Orleans. After graduating, I completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at Wright Institute Los Angeles. And I continued to further my education at New Center for Psychoanalysis where I received formal training as psychoanalyst. Some of my clinical interests are family dynamics and individual differences, intimacy, and relatedness. I'm fluent in Portuguese and English.
